Round table « Terre Citoyenne Chair »

UNIVERSIDAD POLITÉCNICA DE VALENCIA
Salón de grados de la ETSIAMN (edificio 3P), 12:00 h

The situation faced by certain Arab countries of the Mediterranean basin opens a new stage in every region, including the European Union. Identifying and understanding the causes of the citizen revolts in these countries is essential to define future policies that advance not only in economic but also in social and environmental development. To what extent has the food issue been the cause of the riots in these countries? How does the instability in the region affect to the European Union and to its agreements on agriculture?
